Beautiful and thank You! What a beautiful group! My recommendation for the list: Kami Speer (kamispeer.com) makes divine sundresses, along with everything from linen nightgowns, altar clothes, eye masks, to channeled couture. She uses natural dyes and fabrics. Everything is an honoring of the Earth… the land we live on and the land of our bodies. Her pieces are future heirlooms and woven with love. If you can’t tell, I’m quite the fan.
While I appreciate this list and would love to support these companies it would be helpful to know that several of these companies send their products from overseas (Germany, India) which leaves a large carbon footprint. Not sure it is worth purchasing clothing this way due to the cost to the environment.
This company supports creators in India. Also slow fashion and beautiful garments. https://www.ikkivi.com/?srsltid=AfmBOooTbIjZWhexNcD4IhJBOTYueI2A6LUQEkdd31jDHc_GJoWyKm0r

Thanks for the list! Curious why viscose and Tencel are considered eco friendly?
Good question! For the purposes of hazardous chemical exposure to the wearer, we consider viscose and especially Tencel to be one of the safer options, on par with cotton and linen. Ah, yes. We’ve gotten this request before! We do also have readers in Europe and India. But we should make that clear which ones are where.
yep, reader here from Europe (Ireland) who delights in the European recommendations/links - so thank you 😊
