Plus-size Brands That Use Natural Fibers

Did you know plus-size thrifting was a thing?

I had the best shopping experience of my life a few weeks ago. I finally made it out to Utah’s only plus size thrift shop, and the forty-five-minute drive was so worth it.

For the first time, I walked into a clothing store without wondering if I would find anything that fit me—or if I did, if it would be remotely within my price range (looking at you, Torrid).

But this shop—Curveture in Provo, UT—was a dreamland. Not only did I find everything I was looking for, including pants that fit AND matched my alt style—but I was also able to find everything in natural fibers. Never in my life did I think I could have all three on my budget!

You can even order from them online, but they currently don’t list the material makeup for each piece. I do encourage you to see if there is a plus size thrift store in your state, though. Unfortunately there is no directory yet (maybe I should make one?) but you can try searching your state or city + plus size thrift store.
